Learning French
When we registered for our extended visas with the city officials, the lady who was filling in my information wrote my name as "Stéphanie" with an accent aigu over the first "e". I was joking that now I was a "real" Francophone. Chad, wanting to relate this new information to something he already knew, said:

"Hmm,Stéphanie...
Oh! Oui, éléphant!
Stéphanie...éléphant...c'est la même chose!"
